THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The primary goal of a film program lodged within a university is to produce graduates with a well-rounded liberal arts education, equipped with creative and technical skills, and ethical social responsibility in the practice of their profession.

The study of film as art, as popular culture, as technology, and as social communication required a curriculum that is holistic and interdisciplinary.

Train Film & Cultural Workers

Provide degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels that will train future filmmakers, film teachers and scholars, film historians, film critics and writers, film managers and policymakers.
