Provide degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels that will train future filmmakers, film teachers and scholars, film historians, film critics and writers, film managers and policymakers.
Generate, through scholarly researches and publications, information on Philippine films and related topics which are necessary to advance theory building in the discipline within a Filipino context.
Provide a curriculum that integrates film theory and film production.
